Airwaves Music ([login to view URL]) is hiring an Executive Assistant to our Director. This position is 5 day per week, 2-4 hours per day, reporting to our Director. This is a remote-work position, with a daily check in and a weekly meeting. You must be reachable via skype, email and telephone during normal business hours (10am-6pm, M-F). Our vision is to create the best DJ Company specializing in weddings and events throughout Canada. Our Values: Be an A Player Always accomplish your goals Take charge and make things happen Position Description: The Executive Assistant assists the Director of Airwaves Music with a wide variety of activities to support the Director in the day-to-day activities. This position requires excellent organizational skills as well as strong research abilities. As well, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written. Major Areas of Responsibility: -Email management and forwarding -Voicemail management -Finding talent, interviewing performers and placing recruitment ads -Light graphic design and web maintenance -Choosing fun, creative videos and content for social media campaigns from [login to view URL] -Writing blog posts and sending out our email newsletter -Researching and creating back-links, blog comments and directory links -Processing payroll and organizing payment amounts from our CRM -Placing orders with suppliers -Setting up accounts and memberships -Schedule photo and video shoots and ensuring our performers are available -Data mining -Placing phone calls to suppliers/bills/performers to coordinate payments, events, etc -Managing day to day tasks and schedule for the director Job Requirements - Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -Proficiency in the english language -Strong organizational ability -You must be proactive and action oriented -Able to identify urgent items and prioritize accordingly -Typing speed of 80 wpm or higher -Admin experience -Familiarity with back link building and SEO -Familiarity with Wordpress -Knowledge of Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive -Passion for music and events is a plus -Experience with data mining and sales CRM’s is a plus Education and Experience -At least 2 years experience in an admin assistant role, or the ability to demonstrate a high level of organization -Ability to demonstrate your efficiency handling 50-100 emails per day and delegating tasks to the appropriate team members -Graphic Design background is a huge plus About Us: Airwaves Music is a high growth music and technology company based in Vancouver, BC. Hi I have very rich experience of project management and have managed many international events, especially International Seminars and technical exhibitions. I have also worked as a Professor in one of the top Business School in Amity University, Noida, where very big events were organized very frequently. I have very good international exposure and my children are citizen of US. As far as my qualifications are concerned, I am PhD, MBA, Post Graduate in Labor Law (DLL), Post Graduate in Industrial Management, BE (Electrical Engineering) and BE (Mechanical Engineering).
