This project is for editing a 30 page picture book where the text is limited to 40-60 words per page. The story is about a young hero who embarks on an adventure to challenge a dragon. The draft copy has been written, but it needs improvement. I am looking for someone who can edit the text and bring the story to life with excitement and action! Potential editors should follow these steps: 1. Review the 2 attached files, each has a sketch and draft text. 2. PM your revisions for each sample text. 3. Selected responses will be contacted for more information. Key considerations: 1. Text is for a picture book so words are limited to 40-60 per page. 2. Audience is children ages 4-8 with 2nd grade reading level. 3. The story must be entertaining for the child, and their parents. Be creative and clearly communicate your edited versions. English is my first language, and I am very experienced using Microsoft Word. I currently operate Office 2010 Executive, and have access to all of the available Office programs.
