Hello I would really enjoy helping proofread your investigative reports I have only been with Freelancer for 10 months so I can’t top the number of reviews –but already my exceptionally high standards mean my ‘repeat hire rate,’ or clients who use me more than once, is nearly 50% higher than my nearest competitor. That says a lot! Proofreading and editing require 100% accuracy - there is no room for errors. A 5* average rating = 0 errors A 4.9* average rating = 99% accuracy = 10 errors / 1,000 words I believe just one single error looks unprofessional and is totally unacceptable in anything, and especially copy which will be published, whether it is a book or website. Good editing requires exceptional English skills – my 98% pass for English level 3 has been the main reason many are now turning to me. Most have indicated that they felt more confident using someone who had the highest proven English skills on Freelancer. Again with nothing but 5* ratings for my editing, nobody has been anything other than 100% happy with my work I am available 7 days a week and I am 6 hours ahead, so work given one day can be on your desk first thing the next day - I do a lot of work with American clients. Attention to detail appears to be lacking in nearly all of the other current bidders, since only one also bid for an hour a week, and my exam scores (100% at levels 1 and 2, 95% at level 3) are equal or better than happymarli's.

I have 10+ years experience proofreading documents for my managers, directors, and colleagues. I worked in the Canadian government for 32 years in a variety of jobs; including several years in management.
