Need script to convert a large calendar export file I have (ICS or ICBU) into smaller files. Context is I'm migrating from Microsoft Exchange to Gmail. Email and contacts have been fine. However the exported calendar size is around 7mb. Google's calendar appears to only import files of <1mb. Some research indicates Google has a 1mb limit. So, your requirements: 1 - Take an input calendar file (either an ICS or ICBU file, either is fine) 2 - Write a script which chops the file into smaller files (around 800mb each) 3 - ALLOW THE FILES TO BE IMPORTED INTO GOOGLE WEB CALENDAR CLIENT Your output: 1 - Script file source 2 - Multiple files ready for importing into Google calendar Screen here provides further detail - [login to view URL]
