Development of an application that will read in quote data from a remote database for 500+ equity securities. Initially data to be limited to daily data. Analyze data, store data in a local db, and rank stocks in accordance with user-defined parameters into "long" and "short" baskets of stocks for trading purposes. "Paper trade" the resulting positions to determine viability of trading strategy. Output resulting profit/loss data, along with basic statistical outputs. Python language.
