Hello, I have client with an existing "medical records webapp" and we need to add these features: - When the application geneterates a PDF of a medical_record we want it to have a custom logo in the header. - We need the to add files to medical records, files of any format(pdf, jpg, avi, etc). Basically we need these things and if you do it well we will want to add more features this month. The app code is in english but the views are in spanish/arabic/portuguese, you can use google translator to see the views in english in you web explorer if you need it. The app was developed in Rails 2.3.8 but I have a server where the app is running in case you need it. I need to know how much will it cost and how much time will it take. Hi, these tasks will be completed in 2-3 days, as they aren't much of an effort. Question: Is the logo to be fixed for every PDF (one image), or the user should provide it in some settings etc ? Suggestion: I really suggest you to upgrade the Rails version, as it'll improve the performance & patch several security issues.

The report shall be first developed in HTML along with logo and then converted into PDF using the standard Gem. 2. The files will be inserted as binaries along with the medical records in the associated tables. Either a new table will be created or there will be change in the schema required to accommodate the change. Also, scafolding and data migration will require to be performed so that all the objects are in sync with the required data schema. Further, it will require changes in the code to connect data files with the medical records. Queries --------- Which database is being used here? How the existing reports being create? Is there any tool or HTML is being used? Is GIT being used or there is no source control, code is locally available. Will there be any requirement related to deployment or that will done by your team? How the files are getting associated right now in the present system?
