Hello,
When we require a customer to call us it is typically for only a few reasons. We are fed up of copying a pasting information from our invoices into e-mails. We want to be able to send customers emails to call or e-mail us back. However, we want the e-mail to refer to what the issue is so that we can resolve issues quicker. Without having to type out this information each time we want a program of some sort which will pull a few things from our SQL database, insert them into the e-mail and send the e-mail. Almost anything is possible so I am sure this is.
Example:
"Hello,
Thanks for placing an order with us. Unfortunately we are short stock on the following item(s).
{it would then list the items here, pulled from the database}
Please call us at ________ or e-mail us back.
Thanks."
So in the case above would enter the order ID, the product code of the missing item and how many it was short and the program would write and send the e-mail.
There would be approx 5 different e-mail formats depending on the issue. Each might require different information or similar information be pulled from the database. Another example.
(1) Need address verification. The e-mail would send the customer the address they provided us.
