We require an experienced Android / NFC developer to complete following project. Please read and understand the full description attached before bidding. Bidders should include a very high level solution in their response. Bidders that clearly have not read the requirements or respond with 1 line “lets get started” will be ignored. Bidders should at least an existing app (preferably a utility of some sort) published on Google Play. High Level Requirements: - to create NFC labels and modify our existing android App ([login to view URL]) so that: - Android device joins a specified WIFI network using a WPA2 personal pre-shared password that is coded in the NFC tag message; and then - launches our app (SerialBot); and then - within SerialBot app runs a single command to open a new connection with certain text parameters also contained in the NFC tag. WITHOUT requiring user to download any other NFC interpreter / application launcher app other Requirements: - Maintain SerialBot compatibility with Android 4.0 and later. - Provide a method for us to write the NFC labels ourselves to affix to our product including with minor modifications (see Deliverables) - Document proposed solution for implementation method will need to be signed off to ensure it meets requirements before development phase begins. Milestone payments will reflect this. It maybe possible to achieve this a couple of ways (see attachment) - however as developer you will know the best way to achieve above requirements. Background - please see attachment : Deliverables: 1) NFC tag in a format ready to be written by a free tag writer software (developer can specify writer software) which achieves requirements. 2) The NFC tag should be able to easily change by us (following developers instructions) various parameters: (a) the SSID to join from “Airconsole-XX” to for example “Airconsole-AB” (b) the pre shared WIFI password (c) the connection command that runs once SerialBot is launch from “Serial", “9600-8N1” to other acceptable values i.e. “115200-8N1" 3) Working binary SerialBot app achieving requirements- i.e. interpreting the NFC tag data and acting correctly on it to launch the connection. 4) Sufficient error handling in SerialBot app to not crash and advise user for common misuse scenarios: - Airconsole not turned on or booted yet (so WIFI not available), - No serial cable plugged into Airconsole, - WIFI Password not correct (user might have changed it on Airconsole) - Other physical layer / NFC issues – WIFI not on, NFC not on, can’t read tag, tag data corrupted etc 5) Documented source code.

Hi, I hope you have already checkout my profile and if not than please have a look so that we can skip the steps of letting you know about me. ok, see I can develop this app but I need atleast 30-days because I've worked on NFC but not in the way you want. So probably I need to work by research and develop policy. So please let me know if this is fine so that we can proceed our actual discussion about the app. Looking forward to your reply... Thanks Jas
