Create windows service to run URL's from database

Hi, I have experience in developing windows service using C#.NET that do some processings of data stored in SQL Database and run at particular time everyday. It also stored historical of running job and the result / status. Also I have experience in developing desktop application using C#.NET that store and load data from/into SQL DB. With my experience, I am sure that I can finish this project within time. Can you explain me further about the requirement? - What do you mean about executing URL? Open particular URL? Hi, I've worked on Windows service projects in the past. One of them involved fetching users emails and storing them in a database. For your project I think the main challenge will be the timing of the jobs as windows service can be set to run at whatever intervals you choose but in your case, I think the service which will be running will have to check the database every minute or so to check if there are any jobs that are due to be run and this might prove to be expensive in terms of system resources. I would like to know what exactly you want the service to achieve so I can have a better idea of the scope of the project. Regards, Anthony.

i'm SQL server DBA/MSBI DEVELOPER I can create a database, structure of table and write stored procedures for your functionality. I'm not good with c#, so the rate I've quoted you is only for SQL database. I'm also ready to be part of testing in future. Rates are negotiable.

I have created numerous Windows Services, along with User Interfaces that save read and update data in SQL Server. I have been doing this successfully for the last 8 years. I recently created a windows service that runs constantly continuously downloading new files from an FTP server. The details of the files downloaded are then saved to SQL Server. Those details are shared with users via a UI that reads this information from the SQL Server database.
