The proposed system is an application which is to be developed to avoid the hassle of storing business cards manually. The proposed application will be scanning the business card automatically and extracting its sensitive data such as card holders name, address, phone number and email address to save in the phone for future reference.
The main challenge of this project will be to recognize the characters accurately, research will be carried out on optical character recognition mechanisms and image processing techniques in order to minimize errors and improve the systems efficiency and to produce successful results.
