I require a programmer to develop a windows desktop budget application. I can provide you with a working example developed in Excel. You need to suggest the best language to use because I have no idea. The example Excel file uses a 'form' to input setup parameters & budget costs and expenses. The content is displayed yearly, and monthly. A similar form will enter actual accounts, and display them yearly & monthly. There needs to be a comparison of the two. Presentation of the GUI is important, and proceedures need to be intuitive. The functions need to be similar to the Excel example, but there is room for your own innovation. There is an 8 week deadline on this job. A sample of some previous work would be appreciated. I will provide you with the Excel sample file once I see your satisfactory credentials.

I'm member of elyteam group and I have many experience in this kind of work. I suggest you to use Delphi as lenguage and SQLite as database, because these are perfect to do your project. I have done various similars software with these tools and I have obtained very good results. I can provide two options as your choice. - Still use excel as database and display it on a GUI. - Application will handle database itself. Language i use is Delphi. In option 1, it may require Excel to be install on machine that application work. the other one no need that. I can also make an installer to install and run incase you need. Regards.
