Convert windows .exe to mac via winebottler (or other)

Hi there,

I have a very basic need for a windows-only program to be converted to Mac (OS X 10.9.1 specifically).

The program is called Menulink. It is a windows-based program that essentially ties into a database and is used in restaurants to manage their establishments.

I'm not even sure if this can be done; but I feel like it can. I don't have much expertise in Mac land, but I was able to find wine and winebottler and, using the default settings in winebottler, make a Menulink app that will run and then immediately close. Perhaps some of the problem is during the update check.

I would recommend installing menulink on a windows machine to see what happens (from the version I uploaded, it should update the software and afterward, restart and take you to a login prompt. If it gets that far, I believe it is functional.) and then take a crack on it for Mac.

This is just a convenience thing, really. I understand VM's and parallax etc, I just want the stupid app to work and it bothers me that I can't figure it out.

Willing to pay $50 for a working Mac-friendly copy of this software. I think that someone who is proficient in winebottler could knock this out very quickly- if it's possible- and if not, they'd be able to tell me fairly quick as well.

Thanks for your time!

I've been using wine for almost a decade on Linux, and now on the mac. It looks like it might be a .NET app, so I would attempt using mono first.
