It is a very simple software (to be done in VB.NET) with the following structure: Screen 1 ("Starting screen"): It shall have a text box in which the user will enter an ID number. A few checks are to be performed (if text entered is a number and not a non-numeric text and a valid one (within certian range). Then it takes the user to the Screen #2. Screen 2 ("black screen") This is just a black screen preventing the user from going the next screen unless it press a certain key (say F10). This is to give control to the experimenter as to when the user will see the next screen. Screen 3 ("Decision screen"): Depending on whether the ID number is even or odd, show a visible timer countdown (10 seconds) on top of the screen. On this screen, regardless of whether there is a timer or not, there must have a text box in which the user will enter a integer number [0-100] and will press a "Confirm" button (within the allowed time if there is a timer; or without time restriction if there is no timer). A few checks are to be done on the entered text -- if it is a number (and not a non-numeric text) and a valid one (between 0 and 100, including 0 and 100) with message boxes informing so. At this point, create a text or spreadsheet file named with the ID number ([login to view URL] or [login to view URL]) and write to it (1) ID, (2) date, (3) time, (4) the number chosen on the screen 3. Keep the file open for the information to be entered in the next screen. Then take the user to the screen 4. Screen 4 ("Survey screen"): This screeen just shows a questionnaire with 14 questions (maybe, for visibility purposes, the whole questionnaire should be split into three or four screens. Once the questionnaire is finished, answers to each question should be written to the text/spreadsheet file. The file is then saved (drive R:\) and then closed. A "Thank you" message box should then appear. the program is then finished. That is it! Observations: 1. The program should be able to do this every time is run. 2. The questions, and their respective answer options, to appear on the screen 4 are in the attached file (demographic_questionnaire). 3. The attached file "Algorithmic structure" gives you the logical structure of the code (right below an image of the how each screen should more or so look like).
