I understood, you need the outlook plugin to, 1. Create a button in a separate Ribbon Tab in Outlook, when an email is selected. 2. Right Click of Email 3. Open window of Email Upon opening clicking the button, it will display a Windows form and harvest the selected email details in an object. All the details like body, subject, attachments etc has to retrieved. The form can have any windows controls (controls that can be added to a .net windows applications) and process the data. I could create a plugin for you that would have an email message item button and context menu item which loads the required fields. What manner of storage are you considering, plain text, pdf or html, also which database? you also didn't mention how to handle attachments I look forward to working with you on this project. Ola

I have worked with Microsoft as vendor in their desktop search product (this later got merged with operating system itself during vista time). As part of this product, worked extensively in outlook plug-in to index mails and attachments to enable faster and context based search.
