Feature request for a PC client software of food order receipt collection We are a software development firm specialized in food order processing and management system. We need to collect 3rd party order data from the order receipt printer for order tracking and management purpose. Details of the software request are as follow: 1. While installed on a Windows PC, the software should block the print process created by 3rd party food ordering system, and capture all the original print data which should had been printed out by a POS printer. 2. Then the software send the data in text format to the cloud server. 3. A barcode for the order is generated by cloud server and returned to the software. 4. The software receives the barcode and attaches it to the original order captured in previous step. 5. The new order with a barcode attached is sent to the POS printer and a receipt is printed out.

Hello, Based on your project description it is clear you need a software to intercept print jobs from the 3rd party food ordering system. The intercepted jobs need to be parsed out for the data. The collected data should be sent to the remote cloud and new receipt with new barcode should be printed. This project is familiar to me. Actually I have been working on a similar version few years ago. My solution was based on a custom printer driver to which is redirected the print stream and it attaches a new barcode at the end. The only difference from my solution and your requirements is that is missing the cloud feature. It will be required to implement the cloud feature. Regardless of the good project description there are few unclear points which I would like to discuss. Also my bid is only a placeholder.
