Automate Running of Crystal Reports (versions 10 and XI)

I need a program written in Visual Basic 6.0 that will allow for automating the running of Crystal Reports with parameters and output the results to an Excel spreadsheet (Crystal Reports versions 10 and XI). The program will not have an interface, rather it will be designed to run as a scheduled task in Windows. The program should read the report parameters from a config file in the same directory. A log file is created to store the activity. For example: Let's imagine we want to schedule a Crystal report called [login to view URL] which has prompts for 4 parameters (Start date, Stop Date, Employee, and Department). 1) File to schedule in Windows Scheduler is "[login to view URL]" 2) When this file is executed, it looks in the same directory for the config file "[login to view URL]" to obtain the run parameters. ----- Contents of file: "[login to view URL]" [Report] C:\Data\[login to view URL] [Output] C:\Data\[login to view URL] [Dbase Login] manderson dzid#214 [Params] 01/12/2013 01/25/2013 Jones, John A. If there are any prompts then the prompt parameters are read from the ini file and fed to Crystal at run time.
