We are looking to build a website with an event calendar. This will be an informational website, providing news, but the calendar is the main focus. Most of the data entry to the calendar will be done by the administrators, but some may be done by visitors to the website. The calendar will list thousands of events. It must be easily searchable based on users selections (date, location, size, etc.) It must be very easy to use, speedy, and with a simple but attractive look. We will need a backend dashboard to enter data. Once project is complete we should be able to update everything on our own. We are also considering the option for visitors to login to the website. The software for the calendar is our number one priority. If there is good third party software for an event calendar we would consider integrating that into our website instead of building our own. We are looking for someone who can take our input and lead the charge for this project.
