Canvas E-Commerce Web site

SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT We are a Canvas company based in the cities of Montreal & Toronto in Canada. The website that we want to develop is similar to these two websites: [login to view URL] & www.canvaspop.com. E-Commerce Website We need a developer to build an e-commerce Website based on an expandable open-source CMS. We are open to suggestion but we would prefer to use Prestashop 1.5 E-commerce Solution (more information available here: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/User+Guide). The website will contain two (2) distinctive types of products: 1-“Gallery” and 2-“Upload”. 1- From the Gallery, the customer can select the product that he wants and add it to the cart. The user will choose its specifications from the product page and will continue in the payment process thereafter. 2- In the upload section (called Create from the menu), the user can upload its own picture. The uploaded picture will appear in the product image and the user will choose its specifications to continue in the payment process thereafter. Product page Our products are “complex” because there are several price rules behind the user’s selection. The developer needs to take every price rules in consideration. Also, we are open to change/modify our design and/or our information architecture to fit a ready-made CMS but we would like to keep the home page as is. If we have to change something, we need to know exactly what it will look like before developing. If we need to choose a ready-made template, we will do so. We have our custom design in Photoshop files available for your integration. Please explain your solution in the Developer Application section in this document. Skills & specifications We are looking for an experienced developer who will be able to develop quickly and effectively in accordance to our specifications and we need to be able to Skype every day to follow each step.
