Creating A Wordpress Membership Site With S2 Member Plugin

I have been working on a website for the past couple of months with the limited Wordpress experience I have. Currently I have built a website that allows members from the public to sign up and pay a monthly fee to get access to content that I intend to upload to the site (content includes articles, videos and support forums for parents and babysitters).
In my finished product I would like Parents to be able to sign up to my site, pay a quarterly subscription fee, and create a profile. I would also like for Babysitters and Nannies from the public to be able to sign up, create a profile and upload a resume. I would then like for the parents who have signed up and paid, to be able to search through a database of all the babysitters and nannies who have also signed up and created profiles and vice versa. Basically, this would be a system where parents could go online and search for people who suit their criteria and be able to contact them to set up an interview and the babysitters would be able to do the same.
There may be a few other things that I would like done such as perfecting the current system I have where anyone from the outside world can sign up and pay a small monthly fee to be able to access the content I intend to upload (mine is less than impressive). As well as this, I may need a little bit of help in the design of the site. I am currently using the Socrates theme which I am quite happy with apart from not being able to create a better navigation bar.
