I want a desktop application that will enable me to QUICKLY deal with a large number of digital pictures (mostly JPG but also png, tif, and bmp) to prepare
them for a chip that I will put in a digital frame.
I'd like to point the app to a folder, select a few output options, and as fast as I can mouse around, have copies of the pictures saved in an ideal state for the digital frame but into a different path.
I'd like the software to end up open source, preferred on sourceforge
While I really want it for myself, and think others would find it invaluable as well.
## Deliverables
I have 20k images to go through, sorted by year
I don't ever expect to hit more than 2000 files in any run at a time
if a photo happens to be completely wrong aspect (portrait vs wide) I want to be able to just spin the mousewheel and get the best part in the box
