Database to locate file locations (for Emmanuel Ovabor)

Hi all,

I require a very simple database with a nice easy to use front end. The database must be able to store the following fields:

Unique KEy (autogenerated number), File number, Name, Surname, Date of birth, matter type, mobile number, name of the other side.

Basically I have a company and have number of files. I want to be able to track the file location. The lifecycle of a file is as follows:

1. Open:

2. Sent off to be billed (two people who do the billing, so need two fields here)

3. When the file is returned from being billed;

4. Then depending on the file type, it may need to go to to the court to be assessed.

5. once assessed if it is in that category, it is returned by the court and then you have to send a certificate to be sealed by the court;

6. when it comes back it gets submitted to the lsc for billing;

7. then log the date it has been paid on;

8. then store the file: This field you need to see which box you stored in, so each box needs to be assigned a number, and each box can hold any number of files. (box being a physical box) and the location of where it is stored needs to be logged. We also need a date of destruction( which can be reported on the database)

It would also be useful if we could run a report that says when a file needs to be destroyed.
