Custom Toolbar Application

What I need done: - We are web design studio looking for a software developer to help us create 2 Customized Toolbar Applications to accompany my client's affiliate marketing site. - Tool 1: A custom search bar for FireFox & Internet Explorer. This would search our database of affiliate retailers. When a user clicks on a store it takes them directly to that retailer (having already activated the affiliate referral link). - Tool 2: A toolbar button that drops down to display the top 5 stores on our affiliate marketing site. The top 5 stores are determined by popularity and can be retrieved from our website. An extension of this tool would be to also provide an rss-type notification when a new coupon or promotion has been updated on any of those top stores. - We'd like the application compatible for Internet Explorer 6/7 & FireFox Windows & Mac - The retailers are included from the typical affiliate networks What I already have: - this is an add-on tool. We already have a web site. - We will do all designs for this tool, including iconography. You will be responsible for the technology.
