For this project, we are looking for a talented flash developers to change the look of this portfolio site:
w w w . a n d y s i g n e r . c o m / p o r t f o l i o . h t m
as shown in the attach.
All the fla psd ai fonts files to use will be provided by us in a professional manner (separate layers, vectors etc).
As you can see there are 3 categories with text in them: AboutMe, Services and Honors. Those 3 categories have the text read from an xml file.
We want the same for the gallery, a xml structure like this:
<gallery>
<image>
<date>2009</date>
<client>Andy</client>
<title>Title</title>
<desc>My Description</desc>
<thumb>thumb.jpg<!--or thumb.swf--></thumb>
<img>image.jpg<!--or [login to view URL] or link--></img>
</image>
</gallery>
For this you can use a flash component or find/make a script suitable for this project. Some of the gallery objects are magazines so, you will have to use a Page-Flip Component so that users can view the magazine page by page. If you have already such component and looks good in the project you can use it. If you don't we will provide it for you.
Nonetheless there are 5 ways to sort the gallery so there are gonna be 5 separate xmls or if you can manage to sort a big xml with all the data every time the user clicks a category it's even better (as you can see in the second file attached is shown the sorting by year - starting with 2009 and falling down; the clients and others will be sorted A to Z ).
Finlay, the preloading animation will be different (you can do whatever you like here).
OPTIONAL: (this is a plus, not a must), find the IE6 error in this site: a n t o n i o m o m o c . c o m , it's a little problem with the dropdown menu that we haven't manage to fix.
For this project we can use Escrow payment. You can use our server or any other server you like as long as you provide us the final .fla file with comments in the code for future flash developers.
