I need to build an AWS network to host a file server and Domain Controller, and possibly a Terminal Services server, and configure a VPN to my office LAN. I envision a small VPN appliance (dual WAN ports) at the office, configured with an SSL VPN to a small network in AWS. At my office I need to run 2 or 3 thin clients, like Citrix, or possibly we can use AWS workstations and just RDP to those from PC's on my LAN. I need guidance as to the best design, and then I need the plan built, including the initial AD setup and the VPN configuration. The end result will be to have a Win2016 file server in the cloud where I can install my application software, and run a few clients located at my office. The user workstations and servers will need Internet access. All application software, anti-virus, etc will be installed my me at a later date. This project is for the basic server & VPN setup.
I will need to have the completed project handed over to me, with documentation of the computer configurations, VPN config, admin accounts, and verification the network is secure. It is a requirement that this project be secured from your access once the setup in complete. Any future support needs will be managed separately, as required.
