Background :
I have 2 VAP AFL as follow with its limitation:
1. By Total candle on the chart ïƒ the period is too long
2. By Monthly candle ïƒ the period is too short quite and difficult to read/interpret during Early or Middle of month
So basically the limitation is on the flexibility/adjustability. Please find below picture for both AFL. I will provide the coding for both AFL for selected coder.
Task:
A. Therefore I would like to either modify or combine both AFL to become a more flexible one which have following feature (some people call it fixed range volume profile):
1. Can show/display VAP for the last preset candles (example : VAP for the last 20 candle)
2. The number of candle can be set at the parameter (example : 20)
3. The VAP plotted vertically (lowest to highest price) and horizontally (candle 1 to candle 20) from the start until end of selected candle. Similar like my monthly AFL
4. Other standard feature:
a. Change width percentage (example : 70)
b. Right or left of the segment (default :left)
c. Behind or on top (default : behind)
B. Create a scanner which scan (provide a list):
a. Stock with the highest volume / longest VAP at the selected period on that day.
b. Example: if the selected period is 20 (last 20 candles) it will show the list of stock which has longest VAP during that day. If the selected period is 30 candle, then it will show the list of the stocks which have the longest VAP during the that day.
c. Because a scanner sometime do not use parameter option to change the number, It is OK if user should change it manually to get different period.
