Hello there,
We are a team of Health experts located within the GCC looking for your help in developing an app to provide virtual health services via an app. The app will allow clinics to register and list their specialist doctors for potential patients to connect with and request support from. Once a match is made, patients and doctors will use in app video-conferencing, chat, and other ways to connect. The app will act as the platform for clinics to list their specialists and their schedules so they may provide their services remotely "virtually". From the patient's perspective, the app will act as a portal for patients to conveniently access professional healthcare advice. From the perspective of the healthcare clinic and specialists, the app provides a platform to reach individuals.
There are existing apps that deliver the same service - within the USA an app called MDLIVE has a similar setup to what we seek to develop. We need the app to be focused on connecting patients with specialists. The app should include the following functions as a minimum,
1- Allow for a user to register and create a profile on the app (can be more than one profile per phone / app. Profiles should allow the user to enter all health information including but not limited to Allergies, medications, pre-existing conditions, procedures, body measurements and vitals). These are not required to register but should be part of the user profile. There should also be a place to upload medical records as well.
2- Provide a "get started feature" where the patient can tap and begin a short questionnaire called "Triage" to obtain basic information on the condition the patient is experiencing. This should be quick and intuitive. It should mimic the Triage a patient would normally undergo at a hospital or clinic. The patient should be able to add in addition to the answers to the questionnaire other information in a text box. This way the patient has the ability to provide additional info to explain reason for the visit. Patient should also be allowed to upload photos or videos of the condition. Following this the patient should enter information on his or her health profile.
3- Once all medical data is entered the patient should be able to select to see a doc now or schedule a visit. For see a doctor now the patient should select phone or video. Following this then the patient should add their credit card details for payment.
4- For scheduling a visit this should direct the user to a list of specialists relevant based on the triage results. There should be the ability to filter these by availability by phone or video, appointment date, language, and gender.
5- Following the service results etc. should be added to the users profile so he/she may be able to view records, prescriptions, doctors notes following a consultation.
For Clinics and specialists there should be the ability to create new profiles for each doctor and monitor statistics on the utilization, feedback for each doctor. The clinic should also be able to allow new doctors to be added and be able to allow the doctors to modify their own profiles.
For the app to function within our region in the Middle East we need a partner to develop and maintain the app. This is a partnership opportunity. The partner must have the capability to read and write Arabic as the app must be able to show English or Arabic.
