The website should be based on Joomla. We will provide a landing page design for use as template. We request you to respect the design. However, we are open to suggestions, especially to improve functionality or ease of development. Website needs an interface for people to be able to make reservations online. There should be a control panel to ease management of the “package?? parameters. For example, change room rates, add and remove search parameters, and be able to create “special?? packages (combinations of rooms and services at lower rates). The resort includes 4 small hotels. All belong to a single family and are spread in a couple of small fishing towns (sport fishing is the main activity but there are ATV tours, windsurf, etc.). As mentioned before, there are 4 hotels, there is a main site for the resort with general information about the company, activities, etcetera. There are links to the hotels, when a visitor clicks on one of them, there will be a section for each hotel with features, amenities, etc, and a “virtual tour??.

There should be a database to keep a record of all transactions. There should be a control panel to ease management of the “package?? parameters. For example, change room rates, add and remove search parameters, and be able to create “special?? packages (combinations of rooms and services at lower rates). The resort includes 4 small hotels. All belong to a single family and are spread in a couple of small fishing towns (sport fishing is the main activity but there are ATV tours, windsurf, etc.). The online booking system should be able to create room + fishing packages, for example, a visitor should be able to look for a package based on arrival date, number of nights, number of guests, number of rooms, number of fishing days, number of boats needed. (These hotels receive many groups) Before the results appear, the system should ask the visitor on which of the resorts they would like to stay, once the visitor selects the hotel, the search results will appear based on availability. If the client is happy with the package, should be able to make an online payment through PayPal. As mentioned before, there are 4 hotels, there is a main site for the resort with general information about the company, activities, etcetera. There are links to the hotels, when a visitor clicks on one of them, there will be a section for each hotel with features, amenities, etc, and a “virtual tour??. On the activities section, should have a gallery, very active, animated but should be quick to load. On the home page, the header image should be animated (slideshow style). Must have an online live assistance applet (live chat) for a salesperson or operator to help visitors set up their packages, make suggestions or answer questions. We work on USA Mountain time, so need you to be able to communicate during the day, and could be via skype or messenger. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project.
