Content Writer Needed to Produce Copy for Website Landing Pages We are looking for copywriters who can assume the voice of a friendly neighbourhood expert to produce snappy 150-word passages for our website. We’re an exciting, tech-driven startup operating in the motoring industry. Our young company is growing rapidly and we need the number of landing pages on our website to grow with us. You’ll be writing about locations around the UK, in the style of a short travel guide listing, whilst extolling the merits of our product. Each piece consists of between 50-70 words of original prose (to be informed by Wikipedia or a relevant visitors' site) and about 80 words of more formulaic text requiring negligible research or imagination. We’ll equip you with a detailed style guide and the ongoing support of our Head of Content. Requirements: - Native fluency in English - Ability to write with accuracy and eloquence - Efficient delivery of content - Comfortable conducting simple research to inform the content of your writing We're looking to pay $4-5 per piece which equates to a rate of around $20 per hour (based on testing our in-house content team). From experience, once you've produced a 'bank' of quality pieces this becomes substantially faster as the latter half of your pieces can effectively be copied and adapted to fit new locations. Successful candidates can take on as many hours as they please. This is an ongoing project with a target of 10,000 new webpages this year. High-quality contributors will be welcome to work for us as long as they wish.
