I'm starting a new blog that will produce articles about all things online marketing. This includes content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, paid advertising (on social media platforms, Google), growth hacking, affiliate marketing in the form of how-tos, FAQs, case studies and typical blog style. I'm looking for someone who has had previous experience in writing content, proofreading for online marketing blogs and websites.
This blog is starting from scratch, so your attention-grabbing, SEO-centric content needs to trigger the interest of the reader. Your writing style and content also need to attract online entrepreneurs and be persuasive and always lead the reader to take some sort of action after reading the article (ideally every article will have a Call To Action). Most articles will either be written by me, and your task will be to proofread, edit and polish the content to make it more attractive to the user or I will give you the main points the article needs to cover, then your task will be to create the content and elaborate on the main points I have given. If you are a writer who excels in spelling, grammar and creativity I would love to hear from you.
The target audience - Basically anyone who wants to attract more visitors, leads, customers to their business (i.e. Online entrepreneurs, website/business owners, bloggers, social media personnel, podcasts, Instagram/Facebook/YouTube/Pinterest/LinkedIn page owners)
The tone of voice: Entrepreneurial/motivational
Perks: Learn about SEO, social media marketing, growth hacking and other online/digital strategies.
Requirements: Excellent copywriting, proofreading, research, edit and fact-check content skills.
Your first task is to proofread the introduction (which will become my about me section of my blog). I will send the content to the candidates who apply for this role.
