Heraclon International - an audiobook publishing company is looking for additional skilled people who can "proof-listen" English language audiobooks. The Contracted person will receive access to the text, audio file and a correction sheet in the form of an audio editing program project to mark mistakes in. You will not be required to do any audio editing. Just adding markers and describing the mistakes. The audio editing program is free to download and use for a limited time. We will provide you with a tutorial how to use it. You will be required to check and mark the recording within the software for any inconsistencies with the source text, find the presence of pronunciation errors, audio editing mistakes, background noises and such. You do not need to be an audio engineer to hear those or to use the program. It's faster and more convenient than marking mistakes in a separate word editing software. We pay per finished hour of recording. If a book lasts 10 hours you will be paid for 10 hours of work regardless of how long it will actually take you to finish. The perfect candidate should be fluent in English. Your own accent is of no concern to us but you need to be able to tell when the narrator mispronounces a word. The candidate must have access to a computer, headphones and broadband internet as the actual projects can take up to several gigabytes of download. We will send a self-teaching example of work to be done by potential candidates.
