Greetings! I am an audio editor and I am very interested in your project. I just need to know a few things. Do the videos just need converting, or do they need editing as well? I have more than 10 years of experience in lyrics writing, guitar playing, singing and mixing and mastering, so extracting the audio from video files is very easy task that can be done very, very quickly. You said you have around 1 to 2 hours of material which is a fair amount of material that could be processed in 2-3 days, if you want it to be as best as it can get. I would probably give you AIFF or MP4 files since it's the best proportion of quality and file size. I have read your project description, and would like to help on this. ----------------------- This is an outline how I planned to complete your project ------------------------ [ Skills / Experiences ] I already have an interested in Mastering for iTunes for a period, that I have read many documents and procured various programs and tools just for doing this job. For shortly, the audio format for iTunes is: "16-bit/44.1kHz .m4a(AAC) VBR256kbps" [ How long it will takes ] The conversion process will take around 20 - 40 mins each depend on length of the files, so 80 video files will take around "26 - 54 hours" to be completely converted. At last I will QC those files, add meta / descriptions, which will take around "1 - 2 days". My internet upload speed is around 3 Mbps, so 80 audio files will take around "6 - 12 hours" to be completely upload. The project is easy to do with the right knowledge of file formats and good software, but time consuming.

I am very organised when it comes to audio. for these kind of projects I create a working plan to complete the task as fast as I can, also to eliminate any failure. I would use one of the three major DAW's to separate audio from video and bounce it to the required format (mp3 or wav for iTunes). During my studies I had the chance to take part of similar projects, where I had to plan forward and keep an eye on time management as the amount of tasks was large.
