Welcome, I am the engineer: Salah Mansour, 25 years of experience in the field, and I have done a lot like this project. And I saw your project: I have an existing 8'x16' structure on one end of a 40'Wx22'D concrete pad. It sits 1' off the short (22') edge of the pad and about 8" from the back edge of the long (40') edge. I want to build a roof structure that would follow the roof line of the shed, be 8' (front to back) and attach to a Pavilion type structure on the other end of the pad. The pavilion would be 12' across the long edge and 14'-16' across the short edge, mirroring the shed. This project is very easy for me.
