Full Screen Indicator Changed on Parallel Contact Closure

Hello, I am in need of a very small piece of software written for a radio broadcast studio. We have a dual monitor computer, the 2nd monitor sits outside the studio. I need a piece of software that would run in the background, and when there is a contact closure on a specific pin on the parallel port, the monitor outside would display a full screen message. When the contact closure is released, the monitor outside will display a different full screen message. The user interface should be a taskbar icon and menu, nothing more. The menu would contain options to change which monitor the full screen message appears on, as well as options to change the message and background color on the monitor. As well, I need to be able to choose which pin is on the contact closure. This is being used as an On Air indicator. When the microphone is turned on, the monitor will display a full red screen, with "ON AIR - DO NOT ENTER" blinking. When the microphone is turned off, the monitor displays a full green screen, "ALL CLEAR". I have a PHP script to do this, but I would like to interface with my board for automatic switching, and therefore need to have it controlled via the Parallel port.
