I would like to detect the entire frequency range of a piano which spans from 25 Hz to 4700 Hz. Using an ARDUINO MEGA, Sparkfun sound detector LMV324. I tried using Arduino's FFT library and it did not work on lower frequencies than 200 Hz.

Greetings Sir, I'm an Arduino expert and I made a thesis about Sound detection and the orientation of a robot using ultrasound in my University course, I understand your project and I did a pretty similar one for a classmate. I'm new in Freelancer and I can work for smaller wage in return of a positif review and a comment. Let me assure you that the work will be returned in time with an optimised and quality code. Please give my chance. Thank you sir

Hello! I can assist you in making of piano frequency detector. I had worked with a client for auto tunning device for piano. In that we had worked also for frequency at lower ranges. Kindly discuss more about your project over chat.

Hi , I am an electronics and communication engineer with 6 years experience in signal processing and embedded system and 4+years experience in speech technology. In my opinion your requirement is not possible with arduino as the sampling frequency of arduino is not sufficient for audio signal. My recommendation is to use Raspberry pi and sound card. as hardware. In that I can display all the frequency component of the piano sound. Thank you.
