Parallel measurement of GC content of nucleotide sequences

If I understood your problem correctly, you want someone to parse through the strings of nucleotides and calculate the percentage of GC content for every nucleotide. And you need three different implementations that should be tested to figure out which one is most efficient. I believe I can solve this problem because I have +4 years experience using C.
