We get a txt file which has the UserNo, USERNAME,STARTDATE,ENDDATE and some other values. We are looking for an application which will take the file, group them according to UserNo, USERNAME,STARTDATE,ENDDATE and show the remaining values for that user below that group header. All 26 lines in the report header and two lines in the footer should be removed. There should be a page break after each user data. This program is to convert the data and print. Next import should overwrite the existing data. Any microsoft technology like .net,powershell, sql etc can be used . I am attaching a sample file. I would like a brief description on how you are planning to achieve this to make my selection of the developer easier. Thanks

I just finished a project where something similar was needed, it was an asp.net core mvc app which was rather big compared with what you describe. So my idea is to write a small C# application where the user first select the text file, then the program reads the file, load every read line in a list and process each line grouping the data per user generating the output file also in txt format. The prototype will be written as a small desktop application using either wpf or winforms, it can also be written as a web application later if needed, but this is not included.
