I wear a Canon 5D Mark ii on my ("Cookie MVX") Skydiving helmet which creates a gigantic snag hazard for parachute & reserve parachute entanglements which lead to a number of fatalities per year. I have an idea that would eradicate any snag hazard, which is simply a curved box that goes over the camera and attaches onto the helmet itself. I'd love to be able to do this myself but I don't have a clue where to begin in designing this thing for 3D printing. CAD is the way & I have no CAD experience at all. I'm aware I need to supply dimensions & would enjoy talking to an experienced designer to get this ball rolling.
