I am looking for a skilled engineer to design a pulse transformer for my project. The transformer needs to have the following specifications:

Energy Transfer:

- Desired energy transfer is 0.5 J

Primary Purpose:

- The primary purpose of the transformer is to provide power supply

Size Constraints:

- There are no size constraints for the transformer

Ideal Skills and Experience:

- Strong background in transformer design

- Knowledge of high voltage systems

- Experience with capacitive loads on primary and secondary designs.

-Based on my work so far, it is defnitely a gapped, wide band material such as Magnetics Inc type W toroid material ZW-43806-TC gapped to 0.030" then a stack of gapped 0.020" ZW-41406-TC gapped to 0.020" somewhere between a 2 and 4 foot length, the ultimate length I dont know, and neither are the number of windings on the primary side.

-The high voltage capacitor is triggered from 60 SCRs, Philps BT-151R if you need to incorporate that into a sophisticated Pspice model running Maxwell electromagnetics simulation software etc..

If you have the expertise and experience in designing pulse transformers with the above specifications, please submit your proposal.

Thank you.
