A little about myself, I am the principal of a new start-up, Giant City Media. We produce and host conferences, webinars, podcasts and soon, digital publications, all related to the legal profession. I have 12 years experience with a very successful organization, taking it from bankruptcy to amazing growth and building an amazing brand. I left that company and now want to put my spin on my own brand, saying bye bye to corporate oversight and hello to fun. This job is 60% speaking on the phone with c-level people that have great ideas and LOVE to speak at events and 40% writing down their ideas in a very short paragraph intended to fit into marketing material (I have hundreds of samples.) I have the ideas, i have the contacts, I have the name recognition so dropping my name opens doors and gets people on the phone for you. I am patient and a great hand holder if you need it. Pay depends on quality, not the writing necessarily as it's not as difficult as it may sound, but conveying the IDEA properly - meaning 'here's the theme of the event, here is what this person wants to speak about, do they jibe?' I can help you steer a conversation with a potential speaker and btw these conversations last maybe 20 minutes, 30 at the most so you must be comfortable speaking to people. Oh, and it's not CEO's but CMO's and leaders of the library in law firms. It's fun and not what you may think when you think of live events for law firms and the legal community. OK, big picture. I know dozens of producers and have called none of them, I need a fresh face moving forward, someone to challenge me and someone that wants to do something interesting, something you can put your name on and be proud of and get noticed by thousands very quickly and someone interested in making money. If the initial project works out nicely and you are interested in additional work there is plenty to do all year. It can lead to full-time employment if you like, with profit sharing opportunities but that would be up to you. If you want to travel to the conference I will fly you and get you a hotel room, you can meet the people you spoke to on the phone and see how the event goes, it's your project (your baby), it's extremely fulfilling to see it live.(all events take place in NYC, Chicago, or San Fran) First I want to see if this interests you. How does it sound so far? I've attached a copy of a webinar and of a recent conference from my previous company...

I have a law degree and flawless English, almost without any accent. Now, my biggest concern is that can turn into cold calling, which is definitely not my thing. Prove me right or wrong. Cheers!
