Hello there! We’re a hotel price comparison site based in Germany looking for freelance content writers to write for a variety of on-going projects on our English platform. This is a remote writing position. As such, while not required, we prefer that you have had some experience writing on a freelance basis and are familiar with the nature of freelance writing jobs. Writers are compensated on a per-approved-text basis: €4,60 for every hotel description text (130-160 words) and €9,20 for every set of review highlights (200-300 words) approved by the editorial staff. Please submit the following (Removed by Freelancer.com Admin) o In the body of the email: A cover letter: introduce yourself, tell us why you want to write for us, and a tiny bit about your past work experience. o In .pdf form: An up-to-date curriculum vitae/link to an up-to-date online C.V. or portfolio o In either .doc or .pdf form: One writing sample: in 200 words or less, try to convince us to stay at your favorite hotel. This text will not be used for any commercial use and is only meant to help us gauge what your writing style is. Successful applicants will be given access to our project guidelines and asked to take a writing test. Skills required: o native-level English proficiency o familiarity with U.K. English o strong grasp of the rules of English grammar (you should be able to explain the tenses and parts of grammar to someone else, not simply know when something is grammatically correct or incorrect) o strong understanding of the rules of English punctuation (Do you know the difference between a dash and a hyphen, or how to use a semi-colon?) o the ability to communicate with remote employers o the ability to meet deadlines o Experience with SEO writing is a plus, but not required.
