Creative chef with good recipes Knowledge

Hello! I have been cooking and baking for at least 35 years. When I moved to Finland from Texas 21 years ago, I had a rude awakening. There were none of the convenience products that I was used to. I had to make everything from scratch. I had to adapt most of my old recipes and any new ones I wanted to try. I've been making every recipe my own ever since. In 2011, a new concept was born in Helsinki. It was called Restaurant Day, and was a day when anyone could host a pop-up restaurant any place they wanted. I have been participating for 7 years and very much enjoy trying new recipes and adapting them to suit my customers. I focus on cookies, but also offer one variety of muffin.. Many years ago I had a food and craft blog, but got too busy with my family and work to keep it up. I posted recipes that I had adapted and made a lot of expats happy when they found they could replicate the tastes from home with locally available ingredients. I have a great camera with a great lens for taking pictures of food. I don't like a lot of blogs out there that seem to have multiple copies of the same picture. I am not interested in filler like that, I will only write helpful text and post relevant photos. Best regards, Karen Salo
