Develop small 2D game using OpenGl/C++

This game is a simple 2D game in which 2 boats are controlled by different parts of the keyboard (Fwd,Back,Left,Right arrows and w,a,s,d). Should have a little display of the controls for each boat. The user's view should be centered by player 1. The user must try to race down the river in the shortest amount of time possible. Rocks drawn onto the river will be obstacles which the boats will bounce off and slow down if collided with (no need for any complex physics). The boat should also slow down when it hits the river banks at each side of the river. World must be larger than screen size such that it scales vertically and horizontally when payer 1 moves. UI should display the controls for each player and a stopwatch. Needs little start game screen and end game screen(showing which player won and their time). This is a small very simple project.
