I've created a very simple OpenGL program ( Rendering a vertical grid -the grid faces the user-). Each cell of this grid has its own identity. I need to add these features to it.
1-A scroll bar to zoom in and out (must be smooth zoom in/out i.e. no jumps).
2-Translation the mesh using the mouse.
3-Rotation the mesh using the mouse.
4-As each cell has an ID. we need to print out the IDs of cells that visible to the user. For example, if we deeply zooming in we might end up with only one visible cell. When we translate the mesh we only print out the IDs of the visible cells only.
The task is very simple and I expect to get the work done within few hours.
