I have built this project for the guidance of Peshawar city. In my project I have built the mashup of google map and panoramio. Java script, CSS and Html have used as a suporting languages. First, I access the google map using the google map's api. After that I have embed the features of panoramio site using its api in the google map. Now our single website can provide you the features of both these websites. I have placed 15 markers on google map to identify the locations. The markers are placed for schools, colleges, universities, masjids, restaurants, hotels, forts, airport, road transportation, museum, parks, hospitals, railway stations, government areas and markets. When ever the user clicks on a placemark the photo belonging to that area will be visible to user. I have given only the description for some places, so by clicking on that place only description about that place will be appear to user and rest of locations can be seen by their photos. I have also add a photo widget which displays photos of imortant locations of the Peshawar city. I have add this photo widget just for the beautification of my webpage. I also have make the 15 checkboxes to toggle the [url removed, login to view] in a google map on my web page. I have developed this project in 4 months.
