Hi, I know statistics and Stata very well and can help you with this project. I see you want use t-test to check the significance of differences in means. But you should investigate whether your data departure from a normal distribution significantly or insignificantly. t-test is enough robust in case iv data has non-normal distribution, but if data departure from normality significant will be better perform additionally a non-parametric test (for example Mann-Whitney).
