Hi. Thanks for posting your project about a 12V circuit for a thermostat. Please find below a summary of my proposal. SCOPE OF THE WORK: If I understand correctly, you look for a circuit to feed a thermostat with 12V pulses of the specified timing and phase, while the contacts are wired to a 220V floor heater. In that case, I can design a simple 12V pulse generator, either self-timed or synchronized to the zero crossings of the Mains 220VAC. The synchronization is done by an opto-coupler. The pulses are generated with logic gates so there is no need to use a microcontroller. The entire board can include a 12V regulator or just an input for external 12V supply. DELIVERABLES: - Circuit diagram (.PDF) - PCB manufacturing files (Gerber, pick & place, drill list, etc.) - Bill of parts (.XLSX) with 3 vendor codes per part and confirmed stock. - 3D CAD model of the board (.STEP) - Render images of the board BACKGROUND: 11+ years of experience in hardware design, including: - Circuit design and simulation (Altium Designer) - PCB layout design, high-speed and multilayer boards - Managing PCB manufacturing, assembly, prototyping and global shipping - Programming in C, C++, Arduino, Python, Pytorch, NumPy Please check my portfolio with examples of past jobs. Hi, Despite I am a beginer on freelancer.com, most of all I'm an EE Engineer with decades of experience in designing electronics circuit. Sure I can help you with your project. I've a question however. The 230V mains is 50Hz AC. You states that - for an unknown reason - the main voltage blinks 2ms ON ans 18ms OFF, that is at a 50Hz frequency. Is this synchronous of the 50Hz main frequency ? If yes, how is this phased? I mean is the ON phase in coincidence with peak main voltage? In pratica la 12 volt DC che alimenta termostato deve essere dervita da una 220V in AC che ha un duty cycle del 10% ( 2ms on 18ms off) giusto? per cui ti occorre un trasformatore con raddizzatore e regolatore.
