Wordpress theme tweak

This should be a simple job for anyone who is familiar with wordpress themes. I need a few simple modifications done to my existing theme. The modifications are explained in the scree shot attachments. Your job would be to do the modification and document what you did so I can do this myself should it arise again in the future.
