The aim of the project is to implement and analyze a solution to a complex optimization problem using a meta-heuristic technique. Among few others Flow Shop Scheduling has been selected to be done in Matlab using Genetic and Evolutionary Algorithms toolbox. [login to view URL]~mastjjb/jeb/orlib/files/[login to view URL] The first data file is flowshop1 This data file contains 31 test instances commonly cited in the literature. The format of these test instances is described within the file. [login to view URL]~mastjjb/jeb/orlib/files/[login to view URL] This data file contains PASCAL- and C code for generating flow shop scheduling instances. These instances are given in "Bench- marks for basic scheduling instances" by E. Taillard, European Journal of Operational Research 64, (1993), 278-285.
