excel file assistance separate out multiple information in single cells to their own columns

I have an xlsx file which is regularly exported from a third party software supplier using Apache POI. It typically contains data point of an application which we use to decision the application. Some of the questions are dynamic (not always asked depending on the answers) and the file shows some of the questions and answers in the same cell. I need to get a solution where I can dump the data into a file and run a macro or something to separate the questions and answers into their own columns so I can use the data points for my reporting. I can send through the list of all the individual dynamic questions and the possible responses (or if free text) after I have quote for the work. I have other excel work which I could use help with and it would be good to have a relationship with someone who I can go to.
