Excel spreadsheet - locking down VBA and Macros

I have a spreadsheet and I need it locked so that the user can only click on certain fields. It has VBA macros and if you lock it gives 104 error. I need the code locked but I need it to work properly when locked and the VLOOKUP and VBA macros is running.... no errors.
I need it locked and protected...but I also need the spreadsheet Macros to work when locked.
Look at Concept1 picture.
Color Green cannot touch or edit while password protected.
Color Yellow - be able to use VBA but have it locked so nothing can mess it up. Want password protected but still be able to use check boxes
Color White - Open and unlocked always.
